While Calcapp Creator has a few thousand users, getting feedback is always a challenge. We think that we have a pretty good idea of what we’ve gotten right so far and where we still fall short (as discussed in yesterday’s post), but the more feedback we get, the better the product gets. If you haven’t already, please take the Calcapp survey and help us improve.
Given that the number of people who have taken the survey are still in the double digits, it’s actually a great way for you to make your voice heard. A survey taker from the Philippines asked us to add the Philippine peso to the list of currencies only a few minutes ago, and we’ve now added it to the product. (It will appear in the next update, the one that will introduce app sharing.) Also, thanks to the survey, we’ve recently realized that having apps that work offline is important to many of you.
It’s still early days for Calcapp and the fundamentals of the product are being shaped right now. Your favorite spreadsheet, on the other hand, will not change dramatically over the next couple of years—all the basic design decisions have already been made.
