Apps now work better offline and, as a result, qualify as Progressive Web Apps
(PWAs). iPhone users can now easily enter decimal numbers. There are new
features for managing users of private apps. Finally, we describe our upcoming
project Calcapp 4, with much-improved support for tabular data.
Make apps embedded in your website look great with lots of new options. Our
new auto-height feature automatically resizes your iframes to match your apps.
A new JavaScript library enables host pages to interact with apps. Microsoft
Flow is now better supported. Finally, we announce our startup program.
We're adding support for paid plans and ending our beta program, requiring you
to upgrade your shared apps to a paid plan. Make your apps private to require
your users to sign in before gaining access. Use the new Statistics window to
gain insights into your app's performance.
Add your own images to text boxes and use a selection of 26 fonts to make your
apps look better. Use new text formatting options, like centered and
underlined text. Finally, make your brand truly come through by using a custom
logo that appears on your users' home screens.
You can now import spreadsheet data and use it with drop-down fields. Watch
our video tutorial to learn how to use the new feature. Also, customize the
loading screen and use powerful new formula functions to process text.
Finally, new color themes make it a snap to experiment with app colors.
Create apps in one of our 79 supported languages, with correct formatting of
numbers, dates and times. Make apps bigger or smaller with the new zoom level
feature. Use eight new language-savvy functions to format values from
formulas. Finally, you can now use formulas to determine labels of fields and
buttons.
Add steppers to number fields to make it easy to change their values using
plus and minus buttons. Sliders take up more space, but make it even easier to
experiment. There are also new formula functions, improved support for
embedding apps in websites and a rewritten tour template.
You can now use formatted text, including bold, italic and bulleted and
numbered lists. Include links to not just websites, but also e-mail addresses
and phone numbers. Finally, reports can now be opened directly from apps.
Make your apps look stunning by selecting a custom color scheme. All colors
can be selected using formulas, enabling you to create field validation that
really stands out or let your users select their preferred color scheme.
Copy and paste panels, fields and other items. Use the new Panels sidebar to
reorder your panels and quickly navigate to them. Insert panels anywhere in
your app.
Use formulas to hide and validate fields, make buttons grayed-out, determine
the recipients of reports and more through calculated properties. A video
tutorial introduces the new feature. You can now reference fields from other
panels in formulas by clicking on them. Also, our learning resources have been
thoroughly updated.
This update brings cross-references, enabling you to build large,
interconnected apps. Flag suspicious values with data validation and send
reports as PDF files.
This update enables you to display long-form text using formulas, enables
fields to retain their values, improves reporting and allows you
to collect long-form text from your users:
This update enables apps to send data through e-mail or directly to your
server. It also makes it easier to navigate Calcapp Creator using keyboard
shortcuts, makes the formula bar resizable and enables fields to be reset to
their initial values:
This update enables you to share apps with others and allows you to use shared
apps offline. It also fixes a usability problem on Android devices. Here is a
