When you upload an image, we resize it to a number of lower resolutions so
that low-resolution devices don't have to download more than they need.
However, we failed to make the original version available, which could lead to
blurry images. This issue has been fixed.
Calcapp usage is growing quickly, which has led to intermittent stability
issues. We now deliver apps significantly faster than before, which greatly
improves stability. Our White Label plan supports 100,000 app launches per
month, but we plan on supporting even higher numbers in the future.
Running and editing very large apps now works better, thanks to our having
tripled the memory available to our server. More work will be done in the
future to enable very large apps to be edited and run with no performance
issues.
Inserting spaces in panel labels and app titles now works again. We have
completed work on the new payment experience and are working hard on
supporting apps that require users to sign in.
Editing and running very large apps is now a much smoother experience. Our
server now processes changes to such apps much more efficiently. Also,
navigating to a new panel in a very large app should now be instantaneous for
most apps.
If you can't run your app because a message asks you to reload the app, don't
press the button. Ignore it for a few minutes and then press OK on the new
message that has appeared.
Have you tried opening a report through an app installed on your iPhone or
iPad home screen, only to be unable to move back to the app? This issue has
now been fixed.
Since releasing our last update, we have spent a few
weeks fixing bugs in Calcapp Connect, meaning that running the apps you build is
now a better experience with far fewer glitches. These changes are already part
of our production version, meaning that you don’t have to wait for these fixes
to arrive, they’re available today.
Calcapp enables you to create apps that might otherwise have been
created using a spreadsheet. Create apps yourself without
time-consuming and expensive custom software development.
