EOMONTH function

EOMONTH(date, months?) EOMONTH(date; months?)

date — Number or { Number }

The start date as a sequential serial number.

months — Number or { Number } (optional)

The number of months the start date should be advanced or set back. If omitted, 0 is assumed.

Returns — Number or { Number }

A sequential serial number representing the last day of a particular month.

Returns a date representing the last day of a particular month, potentially set back or advanced a number of months.

Returns a sequential serial number representing May 31, 1981.

EOMONTH(DATE(1981, 5, 14), 0)EOMONTH(DATE(1981; 5; 14); 0)

Returns a sequential serial number representing May 31, 1981.

Returns a sequential serial number representing June 30, 1983 (June 1, 1981, advanced 24 months).

Returns a sequential serial number representing November 30, 1979 (November 14, 1981, set back 24 months).
