# MIN function

MIN(First, Other...) MIN(First; Other...)

## First

Number or { Number }

The first parameter.

## Other

Number or { Number } (accepts many)

## Returns

Number

The smallest number of the given numbers.

Returns the smallest number of the given numbers. MIN(4, 22, -4, 32)MIN(4; 22; -4; 32) returns -4.

MIN only accepts numbers, or number arrays. Use MINA instead of you also need to evaluate logical values and text strings representing numbers. Use MINIFS to only consider values satisfying one or several conditions.

MIN(4, 22, -4, 32)MIN(4; 22; -4; 32)

Returns -4.

MIN(4, 22, -4, BLANK(), 32)MIN(4; 22; -4; BLANK(); 32)

Returns -4. Blank values are ignored.

MIN({ 4, 22, -4, 32 })MIN({ 4; 22; -4; 32 })

Returns -4. Arrays are supported.

MIN(4, 22, { -4, 32 })MIN(4; 22; { -4; 32 })

Returns -4. Arrays mixed with regular numbers are supported.

MIN(4, 22, { BLANK(), -4, 32 })MIN(4; 22; { BLANK(); -4; 32 })

Returns -4. Arrays mixed with regular numbers are supported. Blank values are ignored.
